Marcel Mouly was born in Paris in 1918. He was influenced by the great
contempory artists like Picasso, Matisse and Braque. He studied at the French
acadamies and had his first public showings in 1935. He studied with Lager,
Pignon and Berrin in 1945. He had his first one person show in Paris in 1949 and
has gone on to more than 50 one person shows around the world. He is a master of
painting and printmaking and still works in the style of the Early 20th Century
masters. His works are on display at major museums in Europe and the USA.
